There’s something about the start of May that just feels full of possibility — longer days, brighter evenings, and, of course… brand new summer menus at Kate’s Kitchen!
From 1st May, we’re excited to be serving up a fresh selection of seasonal dishes, designed to celebrate everything we love about summer food: vibrant flavours, colourful plates, and ingredients that are at their absolute best.
This year’s menu has been a real labour of love. Behind the scenes, our team has been busy testing, tasting (the fun part!) and refining every dish to make sure it not only looks beautiful but delivers on flavour, creativity and sustainability.
You’ll spot some highlights from our new Victoria Park Picnic menu — a collection that perfectly captures what we’re all about. Think fresh, feel-good food that’s as visually stunning as it is delicious, all made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients.
Before anything makes it onto your plate, though, it has to pass one very important test: our team tasting day.
We recently brought everyone together for a tasting session, where our chefs presented the new dishes and the team got stuck in giving feedback. It’s a chance for us to fine-tune every detail — from seasoning and presentation to portion sizes — and make sure each dish hits the mark. It’s also, conveniently, one of our favourite days of the year.
The result? Menus we’re genuinely excited about.
As always, sustainability remains at the heart of everything we do. Our summer dishes are designed with the seasons in mind, making the most of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and reducing unnecessary waste wherever possible. It’s food that not only tastes good, but does good too.
